thanks sam and andrea! much appreciated. i was standing at a bus stop underneath an overhang, so it was safe and dry. normally i don't much like the idea either, but when martin pointed out the possibility of cool reflections, and umbrellas... i decided i would try. ALSO! as soon as i put my camera away a girl biked by while holding an umbrella. NEVER PUT YOUR CAMERA AWAY! haha
